National Conference on Model Trends in Science and Engineering for Future Technology (NCMTSEFT-2019)

National B-Plan Championship organised by RIT

National Conference

On

“Modern Trends in Science and Engineering for Future Technology”

OBJECTIVE AND SCOPE

The basic and important constituent to establish a strong relationship between diverse fields of science and engineering is advanced research and development of many technologies that make our existence so comfortable. This conference will cover a wide range of interdisciplinary topics on various aspects of advanced materials, energy and environment. Advancement in the understanding of the phenomena of science and technology is often the forerunner to the stepwise progression of a technology. Materials technology will produce products, components and systems that are smaller, smarter, multifunctional, environmentally compatible, more survivable and customizable. Varieties of materials known as advanced materials have been developed for different applications. In spite of the tremendous progress that has been made in science and engineering within the last few years, there still remain technological challenges, including the development of even more sophisticated and specialized materials, devices, as well as consideration of the environmental impact. The conference will provide a platform for students, academicians and industrialists to exchange the ideas, state of art research and development practices and identify research needs and opportunities in the following emerging fields.

  • Operation Research & Management Science
  • Reliability Modeling
  • Soft Computing
  • Numerical Methods
  • System Engineering
  • Optimization & Algorithms
  • Fuzzy Logic Applications
  • Artificial Intelligence
  • Genetic Algorithm
  • Advance Mechatronics and Robotics
  • Nanostructured Materials
  • Construction Materials
  • Smart & Polymeric Materials
  • Sensors & Superconductors
  • Glass and Ceramic Materials
  • Electronic/Magnetic/Optical Materials
  • Agriculture Development Scheme
  • Materials and Environmental Issues
  • Materials for Energy Storage and Production

Call for Papers: The organizer of NCMTSEFT-19 invites original unpublished papers. Submitted papers will be peer reviewed by review committee. The accepted papers will be published in Scopus and SCI Indexed Journal as per recommendations from reviewers.

STATE OF ART:

“Scientists invent the existing world while engineers create a new world.” For the engineers to be creative, they need to develop new ideas and concepts. These ideas and concepts are to be validated through computations and experimentations. The economic growth of society and nation largely depends upon the development of new technologies and products that suits to ever changing demands of consumer. The engineers need to cope with the tremendous pressure created by ever changing consumer requirement on the Industry. Engineers need to enhance their creative skills to meet out the challenges being faced by Industry.

This conference focuses on the engineers in development of affordable technologies and concepts to fulfill the consumer requirements. It is important for the engineers to lookout for research and development opportunities. The pace of development needs to be enhanced to balance the reduced life-cycle of technologies and products. Using these technologies as tools we have to breathe life into the product to make it commercially viable with a futuristic outlook without sacrificing quality and durability. While developing new technologies and concepts, engineers should ensure the protection of environment, recyclability and products’ reliability.

In the present era of technology, reliability is one of the foremost concerns of each and every industry. For example, as in the aviation industry, if a plane is not reliable, then the life of thousands of people who travel by aircrafts is at a high risk. Same thing applies for nuclear reactor, thermal power plant and many of the other systems too. In our routine life, we experience and use many things; they may or may not work in a proper way which is expected from them. From this, we often make remarks that a particular brand of washing machine, motor, automobile etc. is reliable or not. In spite of the tremendous progress that has been made in science and engineering within the last few years, there still remain technological challenges, including the development of even more sophisticated and specialized materials, devices, tools as well as consideration of the environmental impact.

The main goal is to promote an updating of knowledge and to facilitate the interaction between students, academicians and industrialists to exchange the ideas, state of art research and development practices and identify research needs and opportunities in the emerging fields of science and engineering for future technology. It will include keynote addresses and insightful invited talks by eminent researchers. Academicians, researchers, and scientists are invited to present their research outcomes through oral/ poster presentation in the conference. This conference covers a wide range of interdisciplinary topics on various aspects of advanced materials, optimization techniques, soft computing, energy and environment. The conference provides opportunities for the delegates to exchange new ideas and application experiences, face to face.
