An industrial visit of B.Tech. Mechanical Engineering students (second year) was conducted to visit Shree Vasu Steel Pvt. Ltd., Mangalore, Distt Haridwar on 29 September 2022. With the permission of authorities students visited the following units of steel plant;
- Billets Manufacturing Unit
- TMT Bars Manufacturing Unit
- Quality control testing lab
Entire processes of manufacturing steel were shown and explained by Er. Rajmal Thakur, in-charge of manufacturing unit and Er. Sanjay Sharma, in-charge of Quality Control Unit. They welcomed students and explained process of manufacturing of Billets & Bar. In quality control lab, live tests were also shown to the students. Students queries were also taken and explained.
