An industrial visit to ITC Ltd. SIDCUL, Haridwar was scheduled on 21st December 2019. The students were accompanied by two faculty members, Dr.Nirmesh Sharma and Mr. Akshat Agarwal. Mr.Roshan Rana, Head ( HR Department) welcomed the students and gave a brief description on the overall background of ITC, its diversified product & service lines and the vision with which it was established. After a detailed briefing the students were sent to the printing and packaging units wherein they actually experienced how theories can put into practicals. The students and the ITC managers had a very nice interaction during the visit to both the sub-divisions of ITC- Printing and Packaging. During the visit, the manager of printing and packaging briefed students about Flexi and Hard packaging, and the technical aspects of printing. Mr. Roshan Rana during concluding remarks said “At ITC we do not believe in monetary gains but our priority is safe environment, health and safety of employees”. He said that they believe in injury free environment and always give their best in maintaining quality, integrity & transparency
