Implementing the Intellect under Forestry Work Experience and Hands on Experimental learning Programme

Forestry Work Experience is the practical activity for the final year B.Sc. Forestry students during 7^th and 8^th semester for the enhancement of their professional skills by Indian Council of Forestry Research and Education (ICFRE). In 7^th Semester students were attached to Govt. State Forest Department for the training. The entire program is divided into three modules: 1) Socio-economic surveys –village attachment, 2) Attachment with State Forest Department and 3) Industrial Placement In the 8th Semester Student has to establish the forest nursery in college campus having the following components: Collection, Handling, Processing and Storage of planting material, Vegetative Propagation under controlled and ambient conditions and Nursery management.
