RIT Roorkee hosted a Virtual Power Seminar on “INTERNET OF THINGS AND ITS APPLICATIONS in collaboration with ICT Academy on July 03, 2021 from 10:30 am to 1:00 pm

All students and Faculty of Department of Mechanical Engineering attended this webinar.

The event cover the career options attached with the Heavily-in-demand IoT Technology. The objective of the webinar was to make students aware about the career options available after professionally pursuing IOT.

Some real-world examples of IoT were wearable fitness and trackers (like Fitbits, Apple Watch) and IoT healthcare applications, voice assistants (Siri and Alexa), smart cars (Tesla), and smart appliances (iRobot). With IoTs rapid deployment coming into contact with multiple IoT devices every day will be unavoidable soon; 𝐬𝐮𝐛𝐬𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐥𝐲 𝐞𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐨𝐲𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐬𝐞 𝐬𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐬 𝐢𝐬 𝐞𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐞.
