“MENTOR MENTEE MEETING” under Orientation cum Vision Building Program of IIC (Under Ministry of Education, Govt. of India)

A virtual meeting for mentee institute was conducted for the faculties and students of S.S.Khanna Girls’ Degree College (A constituent College of University of Allahabad, U.P. India) on January 15, 2022 from 2-3pm. The convener of the mentor institute was Dr. Aruna Bhat while the convener of mentee institute was Dr. Anuradha Singh. The eminent speaker who spoke on the topic “Understanding the Basics of Proof of Concepts” was Mr. Jimmy Jain.  Dr. Aruna Bhat welcomed all the faculties of IIC- RIT Roorkee alongwith the faculties and students of SSK Degree College Allahabad. After going through the profile of Mr. Jimmy Jain who is Founder Director of Square Sequel Consulting and Society of Design Thinking Professionals, the program started with the basic understanding of Proof of Concepts and its importance in Startups and building innovations in educational institutes. Mr. Jain explained the ecosystem for creating an environment to help students to come up with their novel ideas. The students and the faculties took very interest in understanding the concept by asking many queries regarding the concept. The program ended with vote of thanks. Dr. Parag Jain emphasized on taking up such sessions in future too so that this chain of learning continues and more and more students get involved in taking up their own startups. More than 250 participants were present in this program. The program ended at 3.15pm.
