Industry 4.0 at RIT Roorkee is the Fourth Industrial Revolution is the ongoing automation of traditional manufacturing and industrial practices, using modern smart technology.
It is the current trend of automation and data exchange in manufacturing technologies. It includes cyber-physical systems, the Internet of things and cloud computing. Industry 4.0 creates what has been called a “smart factory”.
RIT Roorkee is conducting its Industry 4.0 Program for the 2nd time in December 2020. A week full of rigorous trainings, all the students of RIT Roorkee (School of Technology, School of Management ,School of Agriculture ,School of Paramedical Sciences) will get a chance to participate in this training week. The objective of the program is to make the students acquainted with the latest Industry Trends and become more employable.
