To be in line with the vision of UNNAT BHARAT ABHIYAN for a transformational change in rural development processes by leveraging knowledge institutions to help build the architecture of an Inclusive India, we at Roorkee Institute of Technology, Roorkee took an initiative as a CSR promoter to Distribute First Aid Kits (Digital Thermometer, Cotton swabs, Bandages, Band Aids, Dettol antiseptic, Hand sanitizers, Face Masks, Omni Gel, Medical tape etc.) to the under privileged Villagers of Bhalaswa Gaj, Block Bhagwanpur (Dist. Haridwar, U.K State) dated June 4, 2022.
The initiative was taken with the cooperation from the Village Development Officer, Mr. Vineet Kumar Gaur. Under the mission of Right to Basic Amenities, RIT took an initiative to distribute the First Aid Kits to the villagers. It was a happy moment for the people who are unable to buy these necessary items. The villagers were also made aware regarding the importance and use of having First Aid Kits at home. Mr. Vineet Kumar expressed his joy and thanked RIT Management and Director Dr. Parag Jain to take up such an initiative. Unnat Bharat Team of RIT under the guidance of Mr. Munendra Chauhan, and Mr. Harshit Gautam took up this task of distributing the First Aid Kits to villagers.
