RIT Roorkee in association with Makeintern & IIM Calcutta provided training to MBA students on Business Analytics from December 6-8, 2021. The training programme was scheduled for three days. This training programme is held in two rounds. The First round of training was taken by Mr. Nihit Saxena who gave detailed information on Business Analytics and its applications in varied nature of industries. The training programme started with the theory of Business Analytics and moved towards the practical application of it. Mr. Nihit Saxena talked about the use and importance of Tableau in conducting the analysis of data. He provided all the useful insights regarding the analytical usage of data and the use of BA in predicting the future consequences to avoid any losses/ risks. The students participated enthusiastically. They were made to understand the Python Programming and various aspects associated with it viz. Data Cleaning, Data Processing. Data Mining etc. Students also learnt the use of various algorithms and tabs for running the Python programme. This training will help students to grab more opportunities in future and will make them more skilled. These types of training make students employable for jobs. The three days training ended when trainer announced three meritorious students for Round 2 who will be having an opportunity to present their idea at IIM Calcutta in February 2022.The students and faculty coordinators were provided with participation certificates and students shared their views on the training and how it will make them industry ready. Makeintern also provided appreciation certificates and excellence certificate for conducting these types of trainings. The programme ended with a group photograph.
