RIT, Roorkee, Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering has been successfully organized AICTE Sponsored one week FDP on Deep Learning using Neural Networks (8th Nov to 13th Nov) in association with VMSB UTU, Dehradun.
FDP was Inaugurated by Chief Guest, Col.B Venkat, Director(FDC) AICTE New Delhi along with Er R.P. Gupta, Registrar VMSBUTU Dehradun
The main objective of FDP was to learn about feed forward Neural Networks, Convolution Neural Networks, Recurrent Neural Networks and attention mechanisms. We will also look at various optimization algorithms such as Gradient Descent, Nesterov Accelerated Gradient Descent, Adam, AdaGrad and RMSProp which are used for training such Deep Neural Networks. At the end of this course, Faculty would have knowledge of Deep Architectures used for solving various Vision and NLP tasks .
There are more than 150+participant registered for FDP,in which 22 Colleges affiliated to VMSBUTU and 18+ colleges from across the country have participated.
In this FDP more than 15 Speakers from Different IIT’s, NIT’s & Renowned MNC’s like IBM India gave their knowledgeable session on different variety of Deep learning.
