A Visit to an NGO “R.U.D.R.A”

With the motto to make student managers aware of NGO work culture, an awareness camp was organised in Government Degree College, Dhanauri. Rural Urban Development Research Association (R.U.D.R.A) offered live projects to 4 MBA students namely Siddharth, Sumegha, Varsha and Kalyani. During first phase Mr. Hemant Kumar Saini gave a brief description of working of NGO and also spoke on Gender Sensitivity and Women Empowerment. Our students also delivered keynotes on the given topics. During endnote Dr. Preeti Saini, (Principal Govt. Degree College, Dhanauri) appreciated and thanked Team R.U.D.R.A and Dr. Aruna Bhat (HOD- MBA Department, RIT Roorkee)  for their active participation. The students were accompanied by Dr. Nirmesh Sharma, Faculty – MBA Department, RIT Roorkee. All these type of visits give a student an awareness of the existence of poor, downtrodden life style and also a feeling to acknowledge their own good fortune and create a sense of duty which is the need of the hour for our country’s development. Further, it makes the young minds to serve the needy, and thereby transforming them into responsible citizens.
