A Feminine Hygine Program conducted. By Dr. Aruna Bhatt

Feminine hygiene is a general euphemism used to describe personal care products used by women during menstruation and other bodily functions related to female reproductive system. In order to make girl students aware of the hygiene and feel comfortable in their own skin an expert talk on the topic was conducted. Dr. Aruna Bhat (HOD- Department of MBA and Chairperson- Women Cell) delivered the key points that should be taken into consideration while using the personal care products. Miss Garima Chandna also shared various hygiene tips which should be known to every girl. There were certain queries raised by the girls which were answered by the female faculties present in the event.

After the event a Sanitary Napkin Vending Machine was installed in RIT Girls Hostel. The inauguration of machine was done by Dr. Aruna Bhat. Girls Hostel warden Mrs. Asha Negi, Ms. Garima, Mrs. Bhanu Priya , Ms. Chelsi and girl students were present in the event. The demonstration of machine was also carried out. The program ended at 5 pm.
